  • what resources are available to address opioid misuse in your community

Stigma Associated with Substance Use Disorder
The goals of this training are to help you understand: ·

  • what stigma is ·
  • the consequences of stigma ·
  • what you can do to change stigma

​​​​​​​Psychostimulants: The Necessary Information for Iowa’s Front Line
The goals of this training are to help you understand: ·

  • what a psychostimulant is ·
  • how it affects the body ·
  • the dangers of psychostimulant abuse ·
  • how you can help your community to address psychostimulant misuse

General Overdose Education & Naloxone Distribution Training
The goals of this training are to help you understand:

  • how opioids effect the brain and lead to disorder ·
  • overdose risk factors ·
  • strategies to reduce opioid overdose ·
  • steps to assist someone in an overdose
